All of the available deals will populate on the “Discover” screen, which comes up first. You earn points every time you scan a receipt, and when you buy certain products you earn more points–occasionally making items free! One thousand points is equal to one dollar in rewards. Once you receive a minimum of $3 in rewards, you can redeem them for a variety of rewards such as gift cards and magazine subscriptions. My favorite reward is Amazon gift cards, since I can use them for my household essentials (and occasionally a little treat for myself).
I logged onto my Fetch Rewards account yesterday and saw that they were offering 100% back in points on the new Klondike Donuts in Boston Creme, Frosted Strawberry, and Triple Chocolate flavors. The deal was available from 9/5/20 through 9/20/20 and could be redeemed up to FIVE times!!! That means five free packages of Klondike donuts! I immediately made a plan to head out the next morning to grab some. Note: these are not available at every grocer, so be sure to click into the rebate information and do a search to find out where they are available in your location. I was able to find them at my local Meijer store; it also said that they were available at two Wal-Marts in the area.
Here is the lesson learned for today–always check your rebate deals before heading to the store, in case they are no longer available or have changed! I did this today, and the max redeemable packages had been decreased to two. Major sad face. Still, two free packages of Klondike Donuts is better than no free packages, right?! I headed to Meijer, where they had plenty of the Boston Cream and Frosted Strawberry flavors in stock. At checkout, a Meijer coupon for $1.75 off two boxes of Klondike Donuts printed out. Score! I immediately uploaded my receipt and received 7,110 points, which equaled my $7.11 purchase price.
You may be tempted to have another member of your family download the Fetch Rewards app in order to take advantage of this deal again. If you are, I say go for it. However, if you were lucky enough to receive a Meijer coupon after your first purchase, I would not suggest using it with this particular Fetch Rewards deal, the reason being that you will receive 100% back in points on WHATEVER your purchase price is, so save that $1.75 off for a future purchase when no rebate is available.
If you are interested in grabbing this deal, I recommend going soon. Since they max allowable boxes dropped from five to two in one day, I would assume they are going fast! Enjoy your free treats!
